- 1958. Foundation of production cooperative “PGH Frieden” with business units “electroplating” and “car repair”. Initial coatings zinc, nickel, copper-nickel-chromium.
- 1980 – 1982. Moving to the present headquarters in Pflaumenallee, Finsterwalde
- 1990. Privatization and transformation to GmbH & Co. KG

Reorientation
- 1992. Spin-off of the “electroplating”-business of GALFA Industriegalvanik GmbH by W. Schüler

Internationalization

- 2009. Acquisition of EPC plant in Czechowice (Poland) including zincflake-capacities
- 2009. Acquisition of KONWERT company in Sosnowiec (Poland)

Securing the future
- 2012. Enhancement production plant Massen (Albert-Einstein-Straße) with new zinc and zinc-nickel capacities
- 2012. Merging of the two Polish sites at the new location Kaniów (Poland) and ramp up capacities for zincflake and thread coatings
- 2013. Introduction of energy management system according to ISO 50001
- 2014. Introduction of SAP HANA ERP system at German locations
- 2015. Extension of the facility Massen (Turmstraße) and capacity extension for thread coatings
- 2016. ZinKlad 1000 certification for zinc-nickel coatings
- 2017. Start of Omnimask thread coatings
- 2018. Expansion of zinc-nickel capacities at the production plant Massen (Albert-Einstein-Straße) with fully automatic loading / unloading and introduction of membrane technology.
